New Merge Fields for Event Details in Email Templates

Email templates can now pull event details in automatically, so key information doesn't need to be typed in by hand each time a campaign or notification is built.

Six new merge fields are available across all email template types:

• Event Name
• Venue Name
• Venue Address
• Event Start Time
• Event Finish Time
• Event Short Description

Start and finish times display in the event's configured time zone, so recipients always see the correct local time regardless of where the email is sent from.

These fields sit alongside your existing merge fields in the template editor's merge field picker, and can be combined freely with them.

Note: These fields are available in Email Templates only. They are not currently supported in SMS templates.

Event Selector Now Groups and Filters Events in the Page Editor

The Event list now separates Active Events from Past Events. This makes it faster to find the event you're looking for, especially on instances with a long event history.

Archived events no longer appear in the list. If a page is already linked to an event that's since been archived, that event still displays as the current selection so the page keeps its association, but it can't be selected again for a new page.
