Improvement
Improved Trait Management for Sessions & Vendors
- Traits on Session and Vendor records are grouped by Trait type, with a simpler picker for adding and removing them. This makes it easier to see what's assigned and update it without digging through a long list.
- When editing a session or vendor, any requirements on a trait type, such as a trait being mandatory or having a maximum number of selections, are checked when you save. If a requirement isn't met, an inline message tells you exactly what to fix.
Traits List Sorted Alphabetically
The Traits list within a Trait type opens in alphabetical order and can be sorted by name, ascending or descending. As your list of traits grows, this makes it faster to find the one you're looking for.
Saved View Presets Sorted Alphabetically
Preset views in the external viewer, including People Advanced Search and the Views and Actions page, are listed alphabetically wherever presets appear. This gives a consistent, predictable order and makes it easier to locate the view you need.
Known Defect
Mandatory Traits Can Now Be Met When Creating Sessions or Vendors
- Mandatory Trait requirements can now be met while creating a Session or Vendor, rather than only after the record has been saved for the first time.
- Previously, the Trait picker for mandatory Trait types wasn’t available until after initial creation.
- If you try to create a session or vendor without meeting a mandatory trait requirement, an inline message tells you what's missing before the record is created.
- This behaviour is now consistent across both sessions and vendors.
Filter Preset Reliability Improvements
- Creating and updating filter presets works reliably across roles. Eligible roles can create and manage shared presets without unexpected errors.
- Other users can update a preset's name, filters, and columns as expected.
- If a save fails, you'll see a clear, readable message explaining what went wrong, rather than a raw technical error.
