New Feature

Assign Categories automatically based on what registrants submit

Admission forms can now apply Categories conditionally, based on a registrant’s actual responses during submission. Previously, Category assignment was fixed; every registrant received the same Categories regardless of what they filled in.

Admins can now configure rules on any admission form that evaluate Custom Field values and assign the relevant Categories automatically. Default Category assignments still apply; conditional rules add to them.

  • A “Job Role” dropdown set to “Student” can automatically add the registrant to a “Student” category
  • Day-selection checkboxes can assign registrants to Day 1 or Day 2 Categories accordingly
  • Multiple rules can be configured on a single admission form
  • Conditional Categories apply in addition to any default Category assignment

Where to find it: Configuration → Admission → Categories

From there, clicking Edit Rules will open a window to configure:

Registrants fulfilling the criteria will automatically have the relevant categories applied:

Page Builder now reflects your custom domain wherever a URL appears

When a custom domain is configured, the Pages section previously displayed the default Jomablue domain URL, creating a risk that incorrect links could be copied into customer-facing materials without realising a manual swap was needed.

The Pages section now shows the correct custom domain URL wherever it appears, consistent with how the Insights section already handles registration links.

  • Custom domain URLs now display in both the Template Editor and the Page Index screen
  • Reduces the risk of incorrect URLs being shared in customer-facing materials
  • Consistent URL behaviour across Pages and Insights

Where to find it: Pages → Template Editor or Index screen

Improvement

Validate Session sponsorships in one place, without opening each record

Previously, confirming which sessions were sponsored, and by whom, meant opening each Session individually. This was time-consuming and increased the risk of errors when validating sponsor-to-session assignments before communications went out.

Sponsored Sessions and their associated sponsors are now visible in a single, sortable list view.

  • A "Sponsored" status column is now available in the Session List view
  • Filter by "Only Sponsored" to see all sponsored Sessions and their sponsor names at a glance
  • When multiple sponsors are assigned, the list sorts by vendor count first, then vendor name

Where to find it: Sessions → List View → Sponsored column / "Only Sponsored" filter

Selecting the “Only Sponsored” filter will show relevant Sessions and a sortable column with the sponsor name:

When there are multiple sponsors, the sorting prioritises vendor count first, and then vendor names:

Customise past Session colour in Digital Signage

The colour used to indicate past Sessions in Digital Signage was previously fixed to grey. It can now be customised to better match your event's branding and visual identity. Grey remains the default if no change is made.

  • Set a custom colour for past Sessions in Digital Signage configuration
  • Distinct from the "In Progress" Session colour for clear visual differentiation

Where to find it: Digital Signage → Session display settings

Screenshot below shows the customised colour difference between Sessions that are Past, and In Progress:
