Release 9.49.0
New Feature
Dynamic on-site Screens with Digital Signage
Event teams can now create, schedule, and manage on-site screens entirely from the Jomablue Portal. Screens update in real time, replacing static printed signage with accurate, location-specific content that stays current throughout the event.
Key Benefits:
- Session schedules, announcements, images, and logos update automatically, reducing manual effort and the risk of inaccurate information on-site.
- Templates support multiple pages with configurable rotation, and can be scheduled across days and locations for precise, timely content delivery.
- Compatible with TVs, monitors, tablets, and any browser-connected screen, supporting multiple resolutions and orientations.
- Preview templates, monitor screen health, and export master data for AV setup, giving teams full oversight from a single location.
- Templates are automatically created and duplicated for new events, saving meaningful setup time.
Common applications:
- "Now showing" or "Upcoming sessions" outside Session rooms.
- Venue-specific or multi-day signage with tailored content per location.
- Rotating announcements, slideshows, or promotional materials.
- Static screens for logos, QR codes, menus, or key event information.
Bulk actions & Program filtering in Advanced Search
Advanced Search now supports filtering People records by Program membership and applying bulk changes to the results. Managing large groups, correcting inconsistencies, or updating programme members no longer requires record-by-record manual work.
New filters include:
- Is a Member of a Program
Bulk actions available for selected People records:
- Apply, remove, replace Category or Categories
- Update Company Name
- Cancel or reverse Cancellation
- Add or update Custom Field
All bulk actions are tracked in audit logs, maintaining a clear record of changes for compliance and review purposes.
New Bulk Update Selected People button when multiple people are selected:
Options available to bulk apply to the selected people:
Filter People by email address list
Advanced Search now accepts a plain-text list of email addresses (one per line) as a filter. Only People whose email matches the list will be returned, making it straightforward to reconcile side registrations or external attendee lists against the main event database.
Filter presets that include this email list can be saved for repeated use, improving accuracy and efficiency when managing large or complex attendee datasets.
Advanced Search with the “Has Email Address” filter applied:
Custom heading & T&Cs text for Registration embeds
Registration embeds now offer greater control over two key elements that directly affect the attendee experience at the point of sign-up.
Heading Configuration:
- Override the default "Attendee Details" heading with custom text relevant to your event.
- Alternatively, hide the heading entirely for a cleaner embed layout.
Terms and Conditions Checkbox:
- Customise the text displayed alongside the T&Cs checkbox to align with your event's language and legal requirements.
Custom Field Aliasing for Registration
Custom Field Aliasing allows teams to define Display Labels for any Custom Field with pre-defined values. The Label is what the registrant sees on the form; the Base Value is what is saved to their person record. This separation keeps collected data consistent without limiting how the form communicates with attendees.
Supported field types:
- Dropdown
- Checkboxes
- Radio Selector
Labels are configured in the Custom Field Values settings, separated by commas on each line. For example, Germany, Deutschland, will display "Deutschland" in the registration form while saving "Germany" to the person record.
If no alias is defined, the base value is displayed in both the form and the confirmation step.
Improvement
Regional name order for Badge layouts
The FullName field in the badge layout editor can now be configured to display names in either First+Last or Last+First order. This ensures badges reflect the correct naming convention for your audience and region.
Example:
- First+Last: SaeJun Park (standard for most regions)
- Last+First: Park SaeJun (preferred in Korea and other markets where surname precedes given name)
Set a Close Time for Single Page Registration Embeds
Single Page Registration embeds can now be closed at a specified time, independently of the parent site's settings. This gives teams precise control over the registration window, ensuring submissions are only accepted within the intended timeframe.
Configuration options:
- Set a specific close time for the embed itself.
- Optionally inherit the timeout from the parent site.
The “Visible Until” field can be seen on the Registration Configuration screen:
Bulk apply Session & Item Entitlements via Advanced Search
Users with access to the Advanced Search Bulk Change feature can now apply Item and Session entitlements to selected People records in bulk. This extends the existing bulk change capability and reduces the time required to manage access across large attendee groups.
