New Feature

Added ability to "archive" an event (make it inactive)

Screen Shot 2025-06-30 at 9.04.46 AM

When you're ready to archive an event, you'll find a new Archive button in your events list, and archived events will appear in a dedicated Archived Events tab rather than cluttering your main events view.

The archiving process requires careful consideration of your equipment allocation, as all assets currently assigned to the event being archived (including printers, scanners, and other hardware) must be reassigned to another active event before the archiving can proceed. To ensure you understand the full impact of this action, the system requires you to review and confirm the consequences by checking a confirmation box.

Once archived, the event's public-facing features like registration sites and community features will be completely disabled, and any third-party integrations using our Push API will stop functioning for that event. It's important to note that archiving is a permanent action - there's no way to reverse or unarchive an event once this process is complete.

Added the ability to delete PII from an event

We've added the ability to permanently delete all personal information associated with an archived event. This data deletion removes everything connected to attendees in that event, including their registration details, order history, interactions with sessions and vendors, community participation data, and any other personal information linked to individuals within that specific event.

This feature is only available for events that have been archived and are beyond the configured vendor lead export period, which is typically set to 30 days by default. The system is intelligent about cross-event data - if a person only existed in the event being deleted, their entire profile is removed from the system, but if they participated in other events within your organization using the same organization identifier, their basic contact and profile information is preserved to maintain data integrity across your other events.

Currently, this deletion process requires coordination with our product team to ensure proper execution.

Static text fields in Badge layouts

You can now add static text fields to Smart Badge layouts. These fields print the same text on every badge, making them ideal for event logos, sponsor messages, or standard disclaimers. Each static field can support up to 80 characters and can be positioned, scaled, and styled like any other badge element.

Creating a static field is straightforward: click the new Add Static Field button, enter your desired text, and the field will automatically appear in your Elements list, where you can manipulate it as needed. While you can fully customise the placement and appearance of these fields, please note that editing the text content after creation is not currently supported. If you need to change the text, you will have to remove the existing field and create a new one.

Events Logs record when a vendor has downloaded their leads

We've enhanced transparency in vendor relationships by adding tracking of when vendors download their leads from your events. This new feature automatically records detailed information about each download, including metadata about where and when the vendor lead export was generated. All this information is captured in the Event Logs.

Improvement

Community Dashboard Event Insights Performance Improvements

The Community Event Insights dashboard has undergone performance optimisations. The dashboard now loads much faster, allowing you to access your community engagement metrics and insights without lengthy wait times.

Added Bot Protection for Capture License Approvals

We've implemented bot protection specifically for Capture License approvals to prevent automated email security systems from inadvertently approving or rejecting licenses when they scan email links for security purposes. This ensures that only genuine human interactions affect your licensing workflow, preventing false approvals or rejections caused by corporate email security scanning.

Pre-loader added to People page

The People page now provides a much smoother user experience with the addition of a pre-loader that eliminates the confusing default view, which previously appeared while the system was still loading data. This was particularly problematic for larger events where loading could take several seconds, leaving users uncertain whether the system was working properly.

Added "Add to Wallet" clicks in the Insights dashboard

We've expanded our Apple Wallet integration tracking by adding the monitoring of "Add to Wallet" interactions in the Insights dashboard. This new metric appears in the Readiness tab as an Apple Wallet Setup counter, giving you valuable insights into how many of your attendees are choosing to use this convenient digital ticketing option.

Display 'Added to Apple Wallet' statistic on Person record

Individual attendee records now display complete Apple Wallet engagement tracking under the Advanced tab. You can see the full progression of whether someone not only received and opened their ticket email, but also successfully added their e-Ticket to their digital wallet, providing complete visibility into the digital ticket adoption journey.

Copy Vendor Lead Export URL From The Portal

For customers experiencing issues with automated lead export emails due to spam filtering or other email delivery problems, trusted support staff and account owners can now copy the vendor lead export link directly from the vendor portal. This provides an alternative delivery method that can be used to respond to support cases and ensure vendors receive their leads even when email delivery fails.

Increased length of security fields within the portal

In the Portal settings > Security tab, we've increased the character limit for security field configurations to 1000 characters.

Session Importer now warns users if sessions already exist in the same timeslot

The Session Importer now provides proactive conflict detection by warning you when imported sessions would overlap in the same time slot for any given location. This intelligent checking helps prevent scheduling conflicts, saving you from having to manually review and resolve conflicts after import.

Known Defect

Resolved issue requiring the addition of Slido URL to Security settings

Previously, users needed to manually add specific Slido authentication URLs to their Community security settings to get Slido blocks to display properly. We've resolved the underlying security policy issues, eliminating this manual configuration requirement. Additionally, we've updated the block configuration labels to match the terminology used in the Slido Dashboard, reducing confusion when setting up integrations.

Session Importer steps are no longer out of order

We've eliminated visual bugs in the Session Importer that caused the progress steps to appear highlighted in the wrong order, which was confusing users about where they were in the import process. The step progression now accurately reflects your current position in the workflow.

Resolved Vendor Lead Export containing HTML source code

An intermittent issue was causing some vendor lead exports to include HTML source code instead of clean, formatted data. This has been completely resolved, ensuring that vendors receive properly formatted information they can easily import into their own systems.

Improved Vendor Import tool Step 4 - vertical field alignment

During the vendor import process, when errors occurred with any imported rows, the column headers would become misaligned with their corresponding data fields, making it difficult to understand which fields had issues. This alignment problem has been corrected for a cleaner, more readable error display.

Added error message when deleting Vendor Tags that have been used

Previously, when you attempted to delete vendor tags that were already in use by existing vendors, the system would fail silently - nothing would happen when you clicked delete, leaving you confused about whether the action had worked. The system now provides clear error messaging explaining why certain tags cannot be deleted.

External Links no longer cut off in Site configuration when the label is long

In the site configuration interface, external links with lengthy descriptive labels would cause the actual URL to be cut off. We've added proper text wrapping to ensure that both the label and the URL remain fully visible regardless of label length.

Improved Registration Label Set List View and Resolution of Slow Reload Times

The Registration Label Set management interface has been optimised, resulting in reduced loading times. The interface now responds more quickly to user interactions, making label set management much more efficient.

Resolved issue with Event Check In tab when no categories were in the event

We've fixed a problem where the Event Check In tab would display an infinite loading state when accessed for events that didn't have any categories configured. The tab now loads properly and displays appropriate messaging for events without categories.
