New Feature

Download CX Advertisement for Printing Within Portal

When attempting to print a Person’s record within the Portal, a new CX message will now display. If no printers or kiosks are configured for an event, it is considered a self-managed CX event.

Users attempting to print a person record will be advised to download the Jomablue CX app, with links to the App store and the Jomablue badging page for inspiration of badge possibilities. Additionally, the menu item under “Actions” for a Person record will change to ‘Check In’ when no Printers or Kiosks are configured, and to ‘Print Badge’ when they are.

Custom Email and SMS Sender ID

Customers with access to SMS and Email sending can now request custom sender IDs through the organisation settings in the Portal. More details are available on the other page in the release notes.

Updated Duplicate Registration Message and Customisation Options

The default warning message shown to users who attempt to register again has been updated. It now includes two sections: one as a general warning message and another specifically indicating which field has been entered differently compared to their previous registration (e.g., if their mobile number is different).

Additionally, users now have the option to customise this warning message in the registration settings of the Portal.

Improvement

Order Search UI Improvements

The UI for searching orders on the Orders page has been improved:

  • Free of Charge (FOC) orders will now correctly display “FOC” in the Amount column (previously displayed as $0.00 with a strikethrough)
  • The “Load More Results” button now functions correctly and loads additional results

Payment Pending Flag Added to Order view

A new flag indicating the “payment pending” status has been added next to the page title. This makes it easier to identify if an order is in the payment pending state at a glance.

Field Length Validation in Security Settings

The maximum field length for Security Settings fields in Organisation Settings is now set to 191 characters. This limit is clearly indicated in the UI, and users will receive validation messages if they attempt to enter more than 191 characters.

People Import List Limited to Current Event

People imports will now only show imports related to the current event rather than all events. If you need the same import on a different event, you’ll need to do that import again on that particular event.

Improved UX for Creating Admissions

When creating a new admission, users will see clear prompts to add or edit registration fields, utilising distinct “next step” colours and a pulsing button to reduce the likelihood of creating admissions without proper registration fields.

Helper Tooltips as Modals

Helper tooltips on the e-Ticket settings page will now appear as modals in the centre of the screen when users click the ‘?’ icon, as opposed to small tooltips.

Vendor Search by Display Name

Users can now search for Vendors by their Display Name in addition to Name and ID in the Vendors list in the Portal.

Jomablue Version Number Visibility

The Jomablue version number, previously only visible on the login screen, is now displayed within the portal, accessible in an event by clicking on your name in the top right corner.

Edit Purchase Order Numbers

Users can now edit the Purchase Order Number on an Order. Clicking the Edit button next to the field opens a modal for editing. If no Purchase Order Number field exists, users can add one through the modal.

Users can also clear and save the fields to remove the Purchase Order Number. All changes to this field are logged in the Order Logs.

Increased Length of Vendor Name in Vendor Lead Export filename

The character limit for Vendor Names included in the Vendor Lead Export filename has been increased from 10 to 30 characters. This change allows easier identification of vendors with similar prefixes, such as “event-organiser sponsored booth,” by the filename.

Consistent Delivery of “System” SMS Messages

“System” SMS messages, including those for portal login 2FA, Community Organiser mode 2FA, and CX Login 2FA, will now always be sent, even if SMS functionality is disabled at the instance level.

Additionally, these messages will always be sent from the Jomablue Sender ID, regardless of whether that ID is configured as an approved sender in the instance.

Added Default SMS Sender ID for Events

A default SMS Sender ID EventInfo has been added, ensuring that all newly created events automatically select this Sender ID.

Formatted “Checked In” Numbers with Commas

The format for the “Checked In” number now includes a comma when the number reaches the thousands, ensuring consistency with the “Total People” number formatting.

SMS Template Editor Update

The SMS Template Editor has undergone several enhancements:

  • The Character Counter has been made more reliable
  • The user interface for variables (merge tags) has been improved

The Character Counter now detects Unicode characters and adjusts the estimated number of SMS messages accordingly. For Latin letters and numbers, a single SMS can contain 160 characters; for Unicode, it’s limited to 70 characters. The counter will also indicate if multiple SMS messages are necessary based on character thresholds.

The variables (merge tags) feature has been visually overhauled, allowing users to click a merge tag to insert it at the cursor’s current location in the Template Editor, or at the end if the cursor is not in the Editor.

Printer Configuration Page Improvements

If filters, such as “Active” printers, result in no printer being displayed on the printer configuration page, users will see a warning indicating that no printers match the applied filters, rather than encountering a blank page.

Enhanced Error Responses for e-Ticket Scanning with Omnia

More detailed error messages have been introduced for instances where an eTicket cannot be printed. The updated messaging clarifies whether the issue stems from the person belonging to a non-printable category or if their category matches a printer, but no healthy printers are available. This prevents unnecessary directed inquiries to the information desk.

Known Defect

Preventing Double Click/Double Trigger of a Person Level Campaign

Users can no longer double-click the final confirmation step of a person-level campaign, which previously resulted in the Email/SMS being sent twice.

Archiving an e-Ticket Template Now Functions Correctly

The archiving process for e-ticket templates has been fixed; templates now move immediately to the archived list upon archiving without requiring a page refresh. They are also retrievable from the archived e-ticket list.

Navigation Improvement in Campaign Builder

Users can now navigate back and forth within the campaign builder as expected.

Reusable Header and Info fields in Admissions Registration Form Builder

Header and info fields can now be reused multiple times within the registration form builder. Previously, these fields would disappear from the list after being used once.

Return to Store Button Fix

The "Return to Store" button in the paid registration workflow, which appeared when attempting to register an already-registered product, was not functioning properly. Clicking the button previously had no effect. This issue has been resolved, and the button now successfully directs users back to the store.

Badge Printing Improvement

A refresh is no longer required to print a newly added person's badge in the portal. After adding a new person record, users can print their badge immediately.

Immediate Trait Type Flag Updates

It is no longer necessary to refresh the browser for the new trait modal to reflect changes made to community flags (which indicate whether traits are displayed on session or vendor profiles). The colour options will now immediately update upon creating a new trait after adjusting the trait type settings.

Prevention of Duplicate Traits

A bug that allowed vendors and sessions to be added multiple times to a trait has been fixed. Users can no longer drag and drop a vendor or session onto a trait and then add another one via the "+" icon without encountering duplicates.

Scrollable Trait Modal

The modal for adding vendors and sessions to a trait was previously of fixed height, causing additional items to be hidden when enough entries were added. A scroll bar has now been introduced, allowing users to scroll through all available options within the modal.

Improved Loading Speed for Coupons

The loading time for coupons containing over 500 codes has been significantly improved. Previously, it would often timeout after 5 seconds, showing no data. Now, coupons with over 2000 unique codes load in just a couple of seconds.

Coupon Submit Button Fix

The "Add to Coupon" button now restricts users to a single click, preventing multiple submissions when pressed repeatedly.

Improved Drag and Drop Text Display

The text associated with drag and drop options for vendors and sessions no longer falls beneath images when wrapped. It now appropriately falls to a new line, enhancing the overall layout of the drag-and-drop element.

Clickable Order Search Results

An issue that prevented the Orders search results from being clickable has been resolved. Users can now click on names in the search results to load the corresponding order details as expected.
