Vendor email templates

Jomablue Lead Capture Devices include the functionality to instantly send specific information via email directly to an event Attendee after capturing them as a Lead.

If you are eligible to set up Lead Capture Emails, the Event Organiser will send you a link to your Vendor Portal, where you can manage your Email Templates which can be easily configured via the Email Template Editor.

Managing Email Templates

Select the link to your organisation’s portal (sent to you by the event organiser).
A list of existing Email Templates is displayed under Templates, where you can edit, duplicate, or delete each Template as required.
You can also rename an existing Template by selecting Edit Template on the desired Template and entering the new name within the Name field.

Create Email Templates

Option 1 - Create one or more Email Templates using the drag-and-drop designer

We recommend this default option for ease and speed of setup. Populate the default template with your images, title, and body content. If you wish for more customisation, the option below may be more suitable.

Option 2 - Provide your own full HTML email template

All emails are sent from an event-related domain; however, you are free to customise the subject and all email content. Paste your fully tested HTML emails, allowing complete control, including inline styles, starting and ending with <html> tags.

  • In the Vendor Dashboard, populate Add a new template with a name and click on Create
  • Select your new Template from the list of Templates
  • Add the Subject line of your email
  • Select from Launch Editor or Paste HTML
  • Configure the content of your template
  • Select Save when done

Who is the email sender

The sender of the email is not customisable, but it will be event-related. It will display the friendly event name with an email address preconfigured by the event organiser. For example, vendor emails sent from an event called “Sonic Congress 2024” will look like this:

From: Sonic Congress 2024 <sonic2025@event-email.io>
Sent: Friday, September 8, 2025 9:00 AM
To: Max Piper <max@piper.com>
Subject: Thanks for stopping by

Add links to Vendor Lead Capture Emails

The email template system within Jomablue allows Vendors to add buttons to email templates, which can link the receiver to external URLs. This can be used to share links to various websites, web-hosted documents, or any other media you wish to share.

To add a link to an email template in the email template editor, do the following:

  1. Insert a button from the content tab on the right-hand side of the email editor
  2. Click on the button to bring it into focus, and name it by clicking on the text in the button itself
  3. Add a link to the button by pasting the link URL into the URL field in the Content Properties pane on the right-hand side of the email editor

Add files to Vendor Lead Capture Emails

The Email Template management tool within Jomablue allows Vendors (Exhibitors or Sponsors) to insert buttons into their templates, enabling Attendees to download files. This can be used to share whitepapers, brochures, posters, or any other documentation that Vendors may wish to share with their leads.

To add a file to the Email Template:

  1. Open the Vendor Portal via the link provided by the Exhibition Manager
  2. Select Edit on the Template you wish to manage, then click Launch Editor
  3. Insert a button from the Content tab on the right-hand side of the email editor by dragging it to your desired location in the Template
  4. Click on the button to bring it into focus, then select the Link file in the Content Properties section of the Content tab on the right-hand side of the editor

  5. Click Upload to add a file to the File Manager
  6. Select Insert to add the file to the button

Note:

  • The maximum file size for the File Manager is 12 MB. However, to ensure that Attendees can view the files on their mobile devices, it is best to keep files as small as possible (ideally under 2 MB). Larger files may take longer to download or may not display on certain devices.

What happens onsite at the event

Your loan device will be given to you onsite by a Jomablue team member, preconfigured for your organisation.

Click on this link to view a short training video demonstrating the features of the device. We will also provide this video to the person collecting the device onsite. The video demonstrates:

  • Adding free-format notes about an attendee in the ‘Add Detail’ section
  • Creating and assigning custom tags to improve lead segmentation and follow-up
  • How to view a history of all leads and add further detail at any stage after capturing the lead
  • Performing an instant lead export from your device and receiving a live email link to download a CSV file containing your lead information
  • Requesting onsite assistance directly from your device
