Capture App for Sponsors

This article will guide Vendors in using the Capture App. Note that different organisations and events may refer to participants as Sponsors, Exhibitors or Partners. Within Jomablue, all these terms fall under the umbrella term “Vendors.”

Primary contact

Only one person from your organisation will be designated as the Primary Contact. This individual will receive an email from the event organiser with instructions on how to download the Capture App on a mobile device.

The Capture App is available on both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. To find it, search for “Jomablue Capture.”

Install the Capture App

  1. Download the Capture App
  2. Open the app
  3. Select Scan QR Code
  4. Scan the QR code sent to your Primary Contact via email

Note: The Primary Contact should share this email with all onsite staff who need access to the Capture App

       5. Provide a name to identify your device (e.g., John’s mobile). This helps to track who currently holds the license in the Portal.

       6. Choose from the list of available licenses to activate your device

Note: Only 1 license may be used per device. If all licenses are already activated, you can select an existing license for reuse, subject to approval from your Primary Contact. This is useful for events spanning multiple days when different vendor representatives attend on consecutive days.

        7. Select the mode of use for the Capture App.

Note: Cloud mode is recommended in most situations, provided there is cellular connectivity.

Use the Capture App

Capturing a Lead

To capture a lead, select the Scan QR Code button and use your device’s camera to scan the QR code on an attendee’s name badge.

Adding profiling tags

Add profiling tags to the lead to facilitate post-event follow-up. Type your Tag and press Return to submit.

Note: In Cloud mode, Tags are synced across multiple devices, making it easy to reuse them. Tags are not synced in Standalone mode.

Adding Notes

Click the back arrow to return to the details page and add any additional notes for the lead if desired.

Exporting Leads

  1. Select Export Leads from the menu (top left)
  2. Enter the prefix for your work email (the email domain will be pre-filled)
  3. Click Send email, and you will receive an email with a link to download your lead export

Additional Notes

When Standalone mode in the Capture App, there are a couple of important changes to note:

  • All functionality remains the same when capturing a lead
  • You can apply your Tags and Notes as detailed above
  • It is not possible to View Leads, and Lead details will not display once a lead is captured
  • You will see the number of leads pending synchronisation on the home screen. Ensure you sync these leads as soon as you regain cellular connection to save them to your export. A green tick will indicate your leads have been successfully saved.
