Featured Page Block
Featured Page Blocks enable attendees to click directly from a block, containing text and/or an image, to a Custom Canvas Page without having to click on the menu.
The Block will also take into consideration any access entitlements that have been applied to the Custom Canvas page that the block will link to. For example, if there is a Custom Canvas Page that you would like only Marketing professionals to access, this entitlement can be applied to the Custom Canvas Page. When this page is linked to a Featured Page Block and an attendee is entitled, they will be able to click directly to the canvas. If they are not entitled, the Block will be greyed out. Please see the examples below:

Configuration options examples
Below is an example of the configuration options as they appear in the Block editor:
- Select Page: You can select the Community Page that you want to feature in the Featured Page Block. It allows users to click through to a Community Page.
- Heading: It’s optional to provide a heading. It would appear beneath the image if the overlay image is not ticked
- Select Heading Alignment: You can select the alignment of the page heading
- Text Colour: You can specify the colour in hex format
- Overlay image: If ticked, then the heading and description are displayed over the image provided
- Image: You can upload or update the image
- Background size: Background size can be contained to ensure the entire image is displayed but it may not fill the Block
- Image height (optional): if an overlay image is chosen, then image height must be specified. The default height is set to 0. If the height is not specified then the Block will appear empty.
- Description: It can be in the form of text. You have the option to make the text bold or italic.
Below is an example of a Featured Page on Canvas. The overlay image is not ticked to yes, which makes the Heading and the Description appear beneath the image.
In this example, the text colour is changed to white by inserting hex format #FFFFFF into the
Text Colour field in the Configuration setting.
By default, if the text portion of a Featured Page Block is not overlaid over an image, it will appear within a smaller "card" within the Block itself. There is an option available to remove this styling by adding the following to the Display Options in the Advanced tab of the Block configuration:
- "class":"v-card_text-pa-0”
