Registration Forms

This guide outlines the essential steps to quickly launch a Registration Site. While it isn’t a comprehensive list, it provides the key information you need. Each step is detailed in the specific articles linked.
  1. Create Event
    Create the event and populate Event details. Head to Event Settings under Event Configuration in the left navigation menu.
  2. Populate Event Settings
    Enter all required information and upload your Event’s Creative Assets for customised branding. For specifications on Creative Assets, see the article: Sites.
  3. Categories
    Go to Categories in the left-hand menu to determine, enable or create Categories. For details, see the article: Categories.
  4. Create Custom Fields
    If you want to collect additional information from your attendees, consider adding Custom Fields to your registration form. You can configure these by going to Settings in the left menu and clicking the Custom Fields tab.
  5. Create Items
    To add item/s to a Person Record, click on Items in the left navigation menu and fill out the necessary information. Click Save when finished. Note that Groups are not needed for Paid Registration. For more information, see the article: Items.
  6. Create Taxes
    If any products or items will incur Taxes, add a new Tax or copy an existing one. For more information, see the article: Taxes.
  7. Create Admissions
    Ensure that the applicable Tax is applied since this cannot be changed once the Admission has been created. Name and describe Admissions appropriately; these will be public-facing labels. For more information, see the article: Admission.
  8. Create Products
    Add Products, making sure that the Base price is set to 4 decimal places. This ensures accuracy when applying coupons and helps prevent rounding issues. For more information, see the article: Products.
  9. Create and Configure Sites
    Create Sites and add the Products to these Sites. For more information, see the article: Sites.
  10. Configure Registration
    Add Creative Assets, Terms, and Confirmation messages. For more information, see the article: Communication.
  11. Add Payment Gateway
    Copy existing or add a new Gateway. For more information, see the article: Payment Gateways
  12. Also, configure Invoice details and manual payment instructions. For more information, see the article: Payment by Invoice.
  13. Create Coupons
    If you're offering discounts to Site visitors, creating a Coupon is necessary. For more information, see the article: Discounts & Coupons.
